This apprenticeship is designed to operate as the professional standard for people working as a Property Maintenance Operative. Typical jobs roles include:

The primary role of a Property Maintenance Operative is to optimise property condition and quality and to ensure the building is kept in a safe working condition. Property Maintenance Operatives need to maintain a high level of quality, providing maximum satisfaction to customers, clients, guests and team. They will understand the mechanism of buildings including electrical, plumbing, plant, safety systems and equipment. They will provide first and immediate response to fault finding, whilst maximising quality and ensuring cost effectiveness. They will ensure prevention of major damage that could result in extensive costs and minimise reactive intervention.

The course is fully recognised by WRAS as meeting their qualification requirements. A WRAS certificate and ID card will be issued by Logic Certification to successful candidates.
These diplomas have been designed for the Gas Installation Industry. Completion of any pathways 6014-55 will enable learners to apply for Gas Safe registration and work in the UK, Isle of Man and Guernsey.
The pathway we are delivering is a Level 3 Diploma in Gas Utilisation: (6014-55) giving you Installation and maintenance of Central Heating Boilers.
This is a licence to practice and will enable you to join the Gas Safe register.
You will be qualified to apply for Gas Safe accreditation in: Core Gas Safety (CCN1), Meters (MET1), Installation & Maintenance of Central heating Boilers (CENWAT1)
Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing Studies (6035-02)
A 10 week Course (4 days a week in Centre)
- Start your career in plumbing by learning all the skills and knowledge necessary to enter the plumbing industry
- Units include H&S, Electrical principles, Scientific principles, Common plumbing processes, Cold water systems, Hot water systems, sanitation, central heating systems and drainage systems
- Full funding available, subject to eligibility

Level 3 City & Guilds Diploma in Gas Utilisation and Maintenance: Cookers, Laundry & Leisure (6014-03)
Runs for 34 weeks (1 day a week in Centre). Call for next start dates.
1 day’s attendance in Centre with additional home learning of at least 1 day a week using our Edmodo Virtual Learning Environment, where you have access to a real Tutor 7 days a week.
For successful candidates this is a licence to practice and you will be able to join the Gas Safe Register upon qualification. Additional elements, eg Boilers, Fires, are available to add onto your qualification.
